A lot of this is due to the fact that more students than ever are applying to schools such as Princeton, Harvard, Yale, and MIT, just to name a few examples. In order to give yourself the best chance of getting into your top choice schools, you need to do your research and make sure that your application stands out above all others. I’m not a professional writer, so I had a friend read over my essay to give me feedback and make sure it flowed properly. It may seem like overkill to outline everything from start to finish, but trust me when I say that you’ll be grateful for your diligence when writing the final paper. The timeline is also key because it will help to keep you on track and avoid procrastination. Remember, college applications should not be rushed!

Is my essay too vague? -Is my story coherent? What are the most important details that need to be included in order for my audience to understand what happened during this event or circumstance?
If I were reading this, would it make me feel any emotions at all? And if so, which ones and why do these evoke those feelings in me?
